These Engineering Welding Skills courses are aimed at adult learners and young learner with a keen interest in welding. These Welding Skills courses are aimed at learners with a keen interest in welding who wish to acquire skills at level 1, 2 or 3. These three courses will run at the same time and students will be assessed to place them at the correct level in order to achieve a City & Guilds qualification.

The College offers 2 types of welding programmers.
1. There are 2 levels and level 3 in Fabrication and Welding (Fulltime)
2. City & Guilds short course. (Part time)
a) LEVEL 1 three process
b) Level 2 four process
c) Level 3 four process with a choice of sheet, plate or pipe
3. Advance Welding codes (One off test)
Three pathways are available at level 1, level 2(MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG and Aluminium) students will select the most appropriate pathway and level for their requirements, assessed on their experience and ability by their tutor at the start of the course.
The introductory Welding course is for you if you are looking for basic welding skills and have no previous experience. Courses are available in the manual metal arc, oxy-acetylene, MIG/MAG, TIG and Aluminium welding processes.
