What are Skills Bootcamps?Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, for people looking for a new role or job opportunity. You will be offered an interview with an employer once you’ve completed your course. The bootcamps are free for eligible Londoners aged 19+ or co-funded for employers looking to upskill staff. If you are claiming Universal Credit, you can still apply and keep receiving your benefits during your training. | ![]() |
This programme provides candidates practical experience in plant machinery maintenance, the opportunity to earn a CSCS card, and foundational training in welding skills.
Training combines classroom learning with practical sessions and onsite visits to employers’ premises, offering hands-on experience in the world of plant fitting and maintenance.

No prior learning required.
You will be assessed through practical, on-the-job evaluations and CSCS examinations. Upon completion, you will be guaranteed a job interview with one of our partner employers, Flannery or Murphy.
