Diplomas in Plastering provide a learner the opportunity to progress from beginner to advanced level plastering. It provides recognition of the knowledge and skills needed to work in this area of the construction field.
This qualification is ideal for enhancing and specialising your skills and knowledge of plastering. You will learn about the industry, including the principles of constructing buildings, and about the types of information used in building design and
construction. You will learn about health, safety and environmental issues faced on
construction sites, and how to communicate with others on the job, including supervisory
skills such as planning, organising and pricing .
Our qualifications are aimed at people wishing to learn some skills in plastering, to progress on to becoming skilled in their chosen trade, or to progress through an apprenticeship and work towards becoming a master craftsman.
Level 3 is ideal if you've worked in the construction industry and have plenty of experience. Your work might involve supervising others or managing resources. You want to develop your skills further and move into a senior role or a position with more responsibility. You will learn and practice more specialist techniques, allowing you to practice at a higher level in the trade.

What will the qualification lead to?
This qualification helps prepare you for work in the construction industry, with a specific
focus on plastering. You are likely to progress on to study the Level 3 NVQ, either as part
of an apprenticeship, or as a standalone qualification.
