Accountancy is all about communicating to others through numbers, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts, how well or poorly a company is performing. Qualified accountants or accounts technicians are fundamental to any business and in demand across a range of industries.
This course covers the following:
You will be taught through practical application using a range of teaching methods. In addition, you will be required to spend an extra 6-8 hours a week on private study.
Our qualified tutors will support and guide you in the lessons using a range of resources to help you develop the skills and behaviours required in industry. Learning support is also available for those with learning difficulties/disabilities; please let us know on application if you require this service. If you need help or advice on other matters such as welfare and finance, please contact our Course Information Centres at Willesden or Wembley Park.
We offer a programme of social and sports activities to all our students; full information is available from the Student Room at your centre of study.
Computerised accounting is no longer part of this course and this reflects the fact that the role of the bookkeeper is changing to focus more on the ability to communicate with colleagues in the workplace.
Our courses are specifically designed to develop your English language skills to support employability instead of simply passing exams.
