Our Courses

At College of North West London we pride ourselves on running inspiring and engaging courses, which develop your creative thinking and provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Our courses are designed with your employability in mind; from work placements and real-life projects to facilities mirroring industry, they provide an excellent launchpad for your future career.

We offer a diverse and exciting range of vocational and practical qualifications for you to choose from, across a wide range of subject areas. With courses for school leavers (16-18 year-olds) including A-levels, T-Levels and BTECs, courses for adults, Apprenticeships, Higher Education, short courses and work-based vocational learning, there's sure to be something for you at the College of North West London. Early Years

Do you enjoy working with children? Being a childcare worker could be perfect for you. A career in childcare is incredibly rewarding, and essential to society. From daycare workers, after school care providers to early childhood educators, you will look after the development and wellbeing of the young, whilst enabling parents to return to work.

To work in this expanding field, you will need to gain a wide range of skills, experience and knowledge to understand how children develop and grow.
 
Our courses provide you with the essentials of caring for young children as well as how to organise play and learning activities. They combine hands-on activities and encourage you to think about how to put your own learning into practice and work as a team.

Earning potential

Once you’re qualification, you can expect a starting salary of £23,727.

Future opportunities 

Upon successful completion of your course, you could enter employment, or progress onto a foundation degree in early years studies or supporting teaching and learning in schools.

Careers in this industry can include: early years practitioner, early years teacher
(after university-level study), primary school teacher (after university-level study), teaching assistant, breakfast/after school club leader, nanny, childminder, children’s representative at holiday resorts and much more.
