Plumbing students training with Pegler

Through the College of North West London’s partnership with the Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE), plumbing students recently had the opportunity to learn from one of the country’s oldest and most respected plumbing, heating and engineering companies.

Glenn Schofield and Cole Greenwood from Peglar visited the Willesden campus to provide training for the students on crimping techniques and brazing solutions.

The training was delivered to level 1, 2 and 3 students, who enjoyed learning about the specific industry practices, providing them with additional skills employers are looking for in the building service industry.

Pegler is well known and respected as one of the leading manufacturers of advanced plumbing, heating, and engineering products worldwide. It’s a reputation earned through a total dedication to quality, innovation, and customer service that’s been the hallmark of the company since it was established in the 1890s.

In 2005, Aalberts integrated piping systems acquired Pegler and strengthened Aalberts Industries’ position with additional products in and among the UK market.

SoPHE is a national organisation with membership for Public Health Engineers. It sits within The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), the professional body for the building services engineering industry.
