College Helps Millions Hear the Three Lions Roar

College of North West London has shown its support for the England men’s football team ahead of their historic Euro 2020 final against Italy at Wembley Stadium.

The college has unfurled a giant St George’s Cross flag at its campus in the Wembley area as the country prepares to unite behind Gareth Southgate’s squad.

College of North West London has also opened its doors to the BBC who will be using the building on Wembley Park Drive to broadcast much of its coverage of the final.

Radio, TV, and online journalists and production teams will use the site to produce, edit, and broadcast their coverage to the nation and around the world.

The college’s campus has stunning views of the Wembley area and historic stadium which will feature in the footage.

College of North West London has worked with the BBC on several different occasions and values deeply the relationship it has with the broadcaster.

Stephen Davis, Group Principal of the United Colleges Group, said:

“As the entire nation gets ready to get behind Gareth Southgate and the England team, we at College of North West London, and across the United Colleges Group are proud to be doing our bit.

“We are delighted to have unfurled the St George’s Cross at our campus and to welcome our friends from the BBC to use our wonderful facilities.

“Our relationship with the BBC is one that we treasure and they should know that they are welcome to return to our campus again in the future.”
