A day of competitions and have-a-go activities. Open to visitors from 10am to 2pm
The College of North West London's annual Skills Show is a day packed with competitions, Have a Go activities, and displays for a wide range of career choices and courses. We also have visitors from industry partners including Flannery and the IET (see below).
Across our full range of subjects, there are skills competitions taking place which visitors can watch, and a range have-a-go activities for anyone to try out! See details below.
The day is open to school groups and individual visitors of all ages.

Activities running on the day
Watch vocational students from CNWL and other colleges and schools take part in skills competitions. Entrants will be applying the skills they have learned from their course so far under time pressure, competing to win a college prize. The best students on the day will also have the opportunity to compete in national skills competitions such as Worldskills UK

Have a Go activities and demonstrations
Activities for guests and visitors to try their hand at, or watch the skills of students in action. Open to everyone who attends on the day.

- Science - Fingerprinting and pH testing
- Spelling Bee
We are welcoming Flannery Plant Hire who are bringing a mechanical digger for visitors to explore! They are also talking to students and visitors about opportunities for apprenticeships and other jobs in the industry.
