ESOL (all levels and ages)
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
If you have lived in the UK for under 8 years and English is your second language, then our ESOL courses may be suitable for you. Our courses start at various points throughout the academic year – September, December, January and April.
Registration and interviews take place before the start of the course – please enquire with the course information team for further details.
The application process will require you to complete an application form and a piece of free writing to help establish your current level of skills. You will then be booked in for an interview/assessment with a course tutor on a separate date, who will place you on the level best suited to your needs. At this stage you will also have the opportunity to discuss timetable options.
You will have the opportunity to study speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Progression can include moving to the next level of ESOL, or to vocational courses upon completion of entry 3/level 1 ESOL courses. As your English improves you will enhance your employment opportunities.
