Representing others

How can I develop these skills?

The College of North West London has a Student Council which ensures that student views are represented in decisions we make about how the college is run. We make sure we listen to the 'Learner Voice'.

Becoming a class representative and student council members are important ways to make your views known. will also help you develop valuable skills for the future. Learner Voice activities are a great way to have fun, meet new people, and improve your skills.

You could represent others on your course at course team meetings, or help other students by providing one-to-one mentoring for example. Some class reps go on to be part of the college's decision making body as a member of the Student Council. Others help out at college events working as a Student Ambassador.
