Three CNWL students qualified for the National Finals in their skills areas, which took place at the Skills Show 2017 in November.
At the Worldskills UK National Finals, held at the Skills Show 2017 in Birmingham last week, Antonio Cupaiolo (pictured left) from the College of North West London won a Bronze medal in the plastering competition.
Fellow CNWL student Gregg Gordon (pictured right) was awarded 'Highly Commended' status.
Worldskills UK national finals involve the best eight students from across the country (picked after a series of regional heats) competing in their specialist discipline.
The College also had a finalist in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning contest. Conor Green, winner of the 'Skillfridge' London regional heat, finished outside of the medal positions but can still be incredibly proud to be among the top eight students in the country.
Antonio and Gregg both won medals at the 'Skillbuild' London and South East regional heats back in May 2017. They had both studied level 1, 2 and 3 plastering at the College before leaving in June 2017 to enter full time employment in the industry.
Conor completed an Apprenticeship with the College and is employed by Antac Support Services.
