Who is this course for?
This course is designed for candidates working in the Digital Installation field and wish to obtain recognised qualification.

What are the entry requirements?
You must have a level 1 qualification or a satisfactory result after completion of a diagnostic test and interview. Employment in Engineering will be an advantage.

After applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.

  • Minimum Literacy Level: Level 1

  • Minimum Numeracy Level: Level 1

What qualification will I receive?
City and Guilds 2218 : Certificate in Digital TV Aerial Installation Level 2

Where can it lead?
City and Guilds NVQ 1687 Level 2 In Electrical and Electronics Servicing (Signal Reception).

What will I study?
Knowledge of digital TV aerial installations also installation and testing of digital
TV aerials.

How will I be taught?
Two hours a week for 10 weeks

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical assignments and online examinations.

What support is available while I am on the course?
College wide learning support

What will it cost?

Students aged between 16-18 will be charged a £20 resource fee, plus material courses if applicable.

On income-based benefit? You could study for only £30.
