Who is this course for?
This course will prepare you for careers in business as computing and IT professionals and in public service in general. It is for those who wish to become computing professionals with relevant technical knowledge and skills. It is also for those who are in or plan to enter employment in a business system role. This course will provide a firm base of advanced knowledge together with theoretical, practical and personal skills needed for a wide range of positions within computing.
What are the entry requirements?
BTEC National Diploma in IT or other Level 3 qualification and
evidence of competence in maths; Access to Computing/Science; One A Level which demonstrates a basic understanding of maths.
After applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.
Where can it lead?
The Edexcel HND qualifications are nationally and internationally recognised by employers and
professional bodies. The HND is well regarded in the computing and IT industry and therefore will offer the opportunity for gainful employment. Many students can also progress direct to the third year of a full degree course at London Metropolitan University, Middlesex University or other universities.

You will be assessed through coursework, assignments, project

Students aged between 16-18 will be charged a £20 resource fee, plus material courses if applicable.
