Who is this course for?
This course is for trainee building services engineers and managers.

What are the entry requirements?
GCSE in Science and Maths. NVQ level 2 in appropriate area

After applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.

  • Minimum Literacy Level: Level 2

  • Minimum Numeracy Level: Level 2

What qualification will I receive?
BTEC National Certificate in Building Services Engineering.

Where can it lead?
BTEC Higher National Certificate in Building Services Engineering or foundation/degree level programmes.

What will I study?
Introduction to design principles for Electrical aspects, mechanical services, refrigeration and plumbing. services

How will I be taught?
You will be taught through a mixture of theory and practical sessions.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through the completion of assignments.

What support is available while I am on the course?
You will have access to a personal tutor to help you throughout the course and the college offers a comprehensive range of student services including learning support, language support and guidance.

Students aged between 16-18 will be charged a £20 resource fee, plus material courses if applicable.
