The Prince’s Trust is a UK wide charity which helps change young lives, and the College of North West London is an approved Prince’s Trust Team Programme provider.  Through support and training the Prince’s Trust provides young people between the ages of 14 to 30 with skills, improved motivation and confidence to help move them in to employment, training or further education.

The role of the College’s Prince’s Trust Team Leader will be to deliver the prince’s Trust Team Programme in line with the Toolkit, KPIs and Prince’s Trust targets.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people as well as excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to be able to handle multiple tasks at any one time – and stay smiling.  You will also be prepared to work flexibly, have the ability to work on your own initiative and with the minimum of direct supervision.

This position offers up to 30 days paid annual leave per year plus public holidays and Occupational salary pension plan.

Assistant Head of Supported Learning

As Assistant Head of Department, you will work closely with the Head of Department in managing our Supported Learning provision based at our Willesden Campus.  Your role will be to maximise student recruitment, retention and achievement, and the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in the Department.

The post holder will develop teachers and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to improve team performance, with a corresponding improvement in the student experience and outcomes.  Pedagogic knowledge and understanding of the barriers to learning students with disabilities face is central, and it is therefore essential that the post holder has a motivation for keeping themselves up-to-date with developments in their professional area and also in the practices of teaching and learning.  As an Assistant Head you will be expected to act as a role model to lecturers, course team leaders, as well as Learning Support Assistants and deputise for your line manager in carrying out their duties. 

This position offers final salary pension plan and support with further training and career development.
